Effective July 1, 2018, BCBSM will increase the PGIP allocation amount on your provider vouchers from 5% to 7%. The additional two percent will be used to fund new PGIP Organized System of Care (OSC) initiatives. These initiatives are intended to drive OCSs to build infrastructure and enable them to engage in risk-based contracting. As part of the transition, fee schedules will also increase by 2% for many E/M codes.
Don't forget to adjust your fee schedules to reflect this increase!
