SPEAKER: Bruce Maki, M-CEITA Regulatory and Incentive Program Analyst
Expected to drive patient care and payment reform, MACRA is changing the health care system at every level. Summarizing nearly 2,400 pages of policy into a one hour session was no easy task, and many attendees at the December 2016 Chapter meeting requested more information on program preparedness including:

Best Practices for Collecting From Patients

David will speak on best practices for collecting from patients. Some topics to be discussed include:
- Pre-Registration
- Time of Service Collection
- Understanding Why Patients Don't Pay
- Bankruptcy
- Deceased Patients/Estates
- And more!
This program has the prior approval of AAPC for 3 continuing education hours. Granting of prior approval in no way constitutes endorsement by AAPC of the program content or the program sponsor.
