Lori-Ann Rickard founded Rickard & Associates in 2000 after years as an associate and partner in private practice at a large Detroit corporate law firm, and eight years serving in-house as corporate counsel for the St. John Health System, a member of the largest Catholic Health system in the country, Ascension Health System.
This presentation will discuss what an OIG Compliance Program Consists of, Significance of Following and Updating the Compliance Plan, Risk Assessments, Billing and Coding Fraud Examples, Obligations by Billing and Coding Professionals where Provider Misconduct Occurs, and the Recent Judgement and Settlements regarding Billing and Coding Fraud. Ms. Rickard will also provide an opportunity for questions and answers regarding the subject of the presentation.
