Effective provider communication is key. Learn how to avoid leading language, apply active listening, and use clear, professional messaging to support accurate documentation. The presentation covers common pitfalls caused by poor communication such as misinformation and offers evidence‑based solutions including knowing your audience, framing relevant context, and selecting the right communication channels. Our speaker comes with lots of expertise in this area and she is excited to share all her techniques and mindset shifts that come with this profession.


Speaker Bio:

Larissa Rapin, RN, BSN, CRC

Graduated from Davenport University with a bachelor’s in science of nursing - April 2015 and received Risk Adjustment Certification in January 2025

In her current role with a Physician Organization, she manages the Payer programs with a Risk Adjustment model and incentive programs for various insurance carriers.  She also provides continuous education to providers, performs prospective and retrospective chart reviews.
