BCBSM provider representatives will be providing information and interaction on current and upcoming changes to plans and BCBS policies.
MACRA and Medicare Payment Reform
SPEAKER: Bruce Maki, M-CEITA Regulatory and Incentive Program Analyst
Expected to drive patient care and payment reform, MACRA is changing the health care system at every level. Summarizing nearly 2,400 pages of policy into a one hour session was no easy task, and many attendees at the December 2016 Chapter meeting requested more information on program preparedness including:
- Merit Based Incentive Payment Systems (MIPS)
- Alternative Payment Models (APM)
- Program Scoring / Incentives and Penalties
- Implementation Timeline
