Improving Coder / Physician Communication

SPEAKER: Julie Hardy, Lead Consultant for Physician Services and Jennifer Ishmael, Support Specialist for the Data Integrity and Compliance Department, The Rybar Group

Do you struggle with how to communicate with the provider when it comes to the documentation?   Let’s figure this out.  Attendees will take a survey to help deepen their understanding of their personality type and will learn more about physician personalities to help improve communication.  Attendees will leave with different strategies and tactics to approach physicians with difficult conversations, specifically related to coding and billing.  Julie and Jennifer will provide practical examples of how to portray coding and billing information to physicians in a succinct manner that’s proven to be successful.

Michele Lurvey has a B.S. in Economics and is a Society for Human Resource Management- Senior Human Resource Certified Professional. Michele teaches leadership courses through NMC Extended Education and is the Vice-President of the local PAHCOM Chapter.
