2019 CPT & ICD-10 Overview of Changes
SPEAKER: Marisa Elliott, CPC, CDEO, CHONC, RH-CBS, AAPC Fellow
With over 16 years of healthcare experience, Marisa Elliott shares her knowledge of professional coding and billing, healthcare compliance and revenue cycle management. Marisa is an experienced medical coder and medical records auditor, and more recently a healthcare trainer. She has provided education and support to physicians, medical residents and medical office staff. Her topics range from HCC, HEDIS and PCMH and related incentive-based programs to HIPAA and health care compliance.
Marisa will discuss the following:
335 changes for CPT, reviewing in depth the specialty of the attendees
279 new codes for ICD-10, 51 deleted codes, and 143 revisions
